Provides crisis intervention through on-call Resident Assistants or Residence Hall Directors. Primary services include: discussion of options, referrals, and follow-up. If a patient presents at FMC with no injury or complaint of pain, they will be medically screened and referred to NACASA for medical/forensic care. If injury or complaint of pain is present after a sexual assault, FMC will provide a medical/forensic exam, treatment of physical trauma, and pregnancy and STD prophylaxis.

Provides 24-hour crisis intervention and advocacy services for victims in a victim-friendly setting. Multi-disciplinary team approach to intervention. Team includes: medical professional, law enforcement, prosecutors, social service providers, and victim advocates. Medical/forensic exam will only be completed whether or not a police report is filed. An advocate will be provided to any victim regardless of their decision to report. Provides free 24-hour crisis intervention and advocacy services for victims. Advocates can accompany a victim through a medical exam and offer counseling and information about legal process. Victim/Witness Services, as administrator of the Crime Victim Compensation Fund, provides forms for financial assistance with medical and other expenses resulting from criminally injurious acts.
