Student Activity Fee

What is it?

Your student activity fee is applied each semester to support live entertainment, weekend evening transportation from campus to downtown and back, free exercise classes and swim for all students, low intramural participation costs, newspaper distribution, and Homecomng and Family Weekend events.

How much money is available?

As enrollment grows so does the fund collected from the student fee.  This spring $40,000 of the fund is available for student and departmental groups to use for speakers, programs and activities for student and the campus community. 

How does my student organization or department apply?

If your department or recognized student organization would like to apply for funds to support a spring semester program, you may do so by submitting an application form.  Proposals will be reviewed beginning February 6, 2009 and initial awards will be made on Friday, February 13, 2009.
