Mission:  PRISM is an organization aimed at: 1) advocating for and empowering individuals who identify as but not limited to: Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Queer, Questioning, and any sexual identity that falls out of the realm of society majority norm. (This also includes those who may choose to not identify with a label.). 2) providing a network of support in order that individuals can participate, integrate, live openly, and meet others like themselves in NAU and in the surrounding community without fear of harassment and/or discrimination. 3) raising support, awareness, and education on the basis of Sexual Orientation, Identity, and issues that face the community listed above. This includes but not limited to providing resources, connections, panels, workshops, and events. 4) giving individuals the opportunity to interact in an open and accepting atmosphere within the organization, and to facilitate and encourage interaction within NAU and surrounding communities. 5) supporting and encouraging allies to be involved while networking with allies in the community in order to accomplish the above tasks relating to PRISM’s purpose. 6) and most importantly, we want you to have fun!!!

Why Join? If you are GLBTQ, it is a safe environment for you to come and be you. We welcome allies as well and love to see people come support the cause.
