Mission:
Northern Arizona Merchandising Association (NAMA) is a student society created for the advancement of professionalism in the merchandising program. Our mission is to give students exposure to the merchandising field, by meeting with professionals in the field, participating in field trips and sponsoring fund-raising events. Trips have included visits to design houses, major retailers, fashion publications, fashion forecasters, museums and major market centers. Previously students have traveled to MAGIC, the men's apparel trade show held in Las Vegas, Dallas Apparel Mart and New York City.

Community service projects:
NAMA assisted in the recent opening of the Westcor Mall in Flagstaff. We hold clothing sales and donate any unsold clothing to Goodwill and have participated in running concession stands at NAU athletic events. Additionally, our club sponsors the bi-annual NAU merchandising program fashion show held at the duBois center.

Events:
Scottsdale Fashion Shows/travel to shows throughout the year, fundraising events/throughout the year, MAGIC/February, officer elections/April and May.
