Average hours/week to participate: 4 hours of practice and Saturday games
Meetings: During the summer every Wednesday at 5 pm at the field behind Reilly Hall. Seasonal practice TBA.

Mission: The Northern Arizona Football Rugby Club is made up of Nau students as well as people who do not attend the University. We compete in Devision III Men's Club and have games all over the state of Arizona as well as one team in Las Vegas. In Rugby there are many different shapes and sizes of players. So if you think you are too small or too big think again. Our roster ranges everywhere from 5'4" 165lbs to 6'5" 290. So all are welcome and encouraged to come and check out the great sport of rugby.
 
Community service projects: We host the  annual 10's Tournament at the start of our Fall season that has been going on for over 15 years.

Why join?
Most people have seen Rugby once or twice on ESPN or heard about it through friends but have never even thought about playing it. Now is your chance! "Just two years ago I  didn't even know what the sport was, and now I am the acting President of the whole club." says Cory Ferguson. Rugby is just starting to blossom in the US so now many americans know the rules of the game. So even if you  don't know the positions or even how many players are on the field we will start at square one every season and keep progressing as the team developes.
