The Social Workers Access Network (SWAN) is a clearinghouse of links, organizations, Listserv directories, and Usenet Newsgroups. This site is your one-stop location for social work information on the Web. Based at the University of South Carolina College of Social Work, this clearinghouse hopes to become the centralized starting point for any/all social work related issues on the Internet.
Social Work Search is a search engine much like Yahoo, but holds only links of interest social workers and other helping professionals.

Moving Ideas is an on-line virtual magazine created by Princeton University Professor of Sociology Paul Starr. Moving Ideas provides timely information and thoughts on national politics and policies concerning health, the economy, and welfare, just to name a few.

Information for Practice (IP) is a new, free, resource for social service professional that is updated daily. The focus in on professionally relevant stories in the world's news outlets, news articles in scholarly journals, and new resources appearing in the grey literature (e.g., scientific and technical reports primarily from governments and organizations). The goal of this service is to provide social service porfessionals with easier access to high quality infromation that can be used to improve their practice.
