Being an RA has been a great experience because it has allowed for my own personal and professional development among other highly motivated and spirited individuals. It has allowed me to meet so many awesome people, all from different walks of life, and to participate in exciting experiences that I otherwise would not be have been privy to.
  - Jake, Cowden Hall RA

I enjoy working in Sechrist because I like working with new students and helping them get adjusted to NAU and living away from home. They are excited to be here and I love being involved in their energy. I enjoy providing activities that help residents feel welcome and at home. The residents encourage my positive attitude and allow me to enjoy my position as an RA to the fullest.
  - Kayla, Sechrist Hall RA

My Residence Hall, Reilly, is unique so there is always something to do and somewhere to be. It allows me to network on every floor and to get to know as many people as possible, which is a key step to becoming the best RA that I can be.
  - Ryan, Reilly Hall RA

I was ecstatic when I was chosen for Allen Hall not only because it is the new Freshman Connection building on the block but it also houses a bunch of learning communities full of motivated students.  I was assigned to the STAR Learning Community and it has been a complete pleasure to work with these residents, they are an extremely talented group of people and they have taught me so much about life.  It has been a wonderful experience, one that I would never change!
  - Rachel, Allen Hall RA

What I like best about working in McConnell is the wide spectrum of personalities on staff that I get to work with. All 24 of us bring our own spices to the soup, and its never a dull moment!
  - Katie, McConnell Hall RA

I felt intimidated when I was chosen to be an RA in Mountain View Hall and now I am Greek! The Greek residents and staff feel like a family. I like working here because the residents are very involved in school. I admire them and am proud to work with them everyday. Our residents are probably the hardest working and funniest people I know!
  - Jill, Mountain View Hall RA

Being an RA has been a great experience because it allows me to help my residents on a daily basis feel welcome and wanted in our community! It's so rewarding to know that I have a made a difference in their lives!
  - Jamie, Gabaldon Hall RA

I like working in Gillenwater because of our amazing RHD Joseph, our fabulous residents, and the best co RA's ever
  - Vanessa, Gillenwater Hall RA

I like working in Gillenwater because it is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It is a chance to help and be there for my residents. It is also pretty cool all the great activities we get to do! Being an RA has been a great experience because I have had the chance to grow over 174 people into one community. Creating friendships that will last past the college years.

What I like best about Gillenwater is the atmosphere. Our residents are outgoing and have great attitudes for programming. I like that I can get to know them and they can get to know me, the close relationships are a valued asset to our community.
  - Amanda, Gillenwater Hall RA

I like working in Mountain View because everyday is filled with a new challenge, a new adventure, a new story. The residents I work with are outstanding individuals who set new goals and achieve new standards of excellence every day. My residents and my staff have become my family and I am grateful for the opportunities to learn and grow they provide me with every day.

I like working in Taylor Hall because there is a unique community in the hall, and throughout North Campus. The diversity shared between the whole community is a constant learning experience personally and as a community.
  - Brandon, Taylor Hall RA

I like working in Mountain View because I like working with Greek students. They do so much for our community and they are good role models for NAU. I love working with them.
  - Mark, Mountain View Hall RA

Being an RA has been a great experience because it has given me the opportunity to meet some great people - residents, supervisors, and other people from the NAU campus that are excited about our communities and want to help fellow Lumberjacks. I never could have imagined knowing as many people as I know now if I had not accepted a job as an RA.
  - Michael, Raymond Hall RA

I like working in Mountain View Hall because I enjoy working with a wide range of students, from freshmen to seniors on a wide variety of things. It's incredible to watch my residents grow academically, socially, and within their Greek chapters.

I also like working in Mountain View Hall because the environment here is always in motion, with new people and events going on almost every week! Having come into this position not knowing much about Greek Life, I am thankful every day for this amazing opportunity to meet so many new and wonderful people among my residents, staff, and RHDs.
  - Andrew, Mountain View Hall RA

I have found that being an RA has been one of my most rewarding and fun campus
experiences. I've been able to meet a variety of people through committee work,
conferences, and training sessions that have helped me in my day-to-day activities as a
student and single-mother. My children and I like being part of a campus-living community
and feeling grounded in a home-like environment.

As an RA, I get the added benefit of knowing my neighbors and having regular contact with
them. Also, being a friend and resource to my fellow students has been very fulfilling I
would encourage anyone who enjoys people and growth experiences to become an RA.
  - Vera, South Family RA
I have enjoyed the past six months of being an RA here at South Family. I have met more
people,  been involved in more activities and planning than I would've been had I not
applied to be an RA. I like knowing what's happening on campus, and actually knowing who
I live with in my community. I would recommend this experience to all those
considering becoming an RA.
   - Amy, South Family RA
