Why did you choose to live in a Learning Community?
I chose to live in a Learning Community because I thought it sounded like a great opportunity to make some good friends who enjoyed doing the same kind of activities that I did. I couldn't have made a better choice!
What has been the best part of living in a Learning Community?
Being a part of the Outdoor Recreation Learning Community has allowed me to make connections with people who share a passion for the same things I do. My friends all live close to me so we do everything together: eat, walk to class, and LC activities and meetings! We have even started planning our own outdoor activities outside of the LC.
What is your favorite part of living on campus?
I love feeling like part of the NAU community; I have made a bunch of friends simply because of where I live. I enjoy being close to campus activities and I love being able to walk to class. I think living on campus your first year is the best way to be a part of the "college experience." Without it, I never would have had as much fun.
