What do you like best about living your Learning Community?
In this Learning Community all of us take the same classes, so whenever you are unable to understand or do something your peers are always there to help. I also like that all of my friends in the Community live in the same dorm and floor as I do.
What are the benefits of living in a Learning Community?
One of the biggest benefits of the Learning Community is that you are introduced to your teachers outside of class before having them as instructors. The benefits of this are that your teachers will not only know your name before class starts, but will be able to know you enough to help you better than if they never met you.
What has been the best Learning Community event for you, and why?
The best Learning Community event I ever attended was one of the faculty dinners where I was able to meet with a couple of my future professors. At this specific faculty dinner I was able to meet two of my favorite professors Eric Yordy and Mary Bowers. This semester I have Mr. Yordy as my Law professor and I occasionally stop by Mrs. Bowers' office and chat with her.
