The Business LCs connect freshmen who are interested in majoring in accountancy, business economics, computer information systems, finance, management or marketing. LC residents live together in one of two locations – Sechrist Hall or McConnell Hall.
Common Courses
Seats in certain high-demand classes will be reserved for Freshman Business LC residents. Your advisor will help you enroll in these courses, which you will attend with other members of your LC. Fall Semester: CIS 120 – Introduction to Computer Information Systems Introduces students to computers and information systems, including applications used for communications and database management. MGT 100 – Introduction to Business This course introduces freshmen LC members to the functional areas of business management and how they interrelate to maximize wealth in a socially responsible way.
Spring Semester:
ACC 205 - Legal, Ethical, Global, and Regulatory Environment of Business
This course introduces students to the basic of the environment of business, including legal and ethical issues and the regulatory and global environment of business that affects business policies and decisions.
