Accepting Learning Community applicants for the 2010-2011 Academic year

A sense of community is vital to the success of a student's first year at NAU. The Education House Learning Communities connect freshmen who are interested in majoring in elementary education, elementary and special education, and early childhood education. Students living in the Education House Learning Communities will find that the new friends they make during this first-year experience will influence and enhance their professional careers as teachers. Learning community residents live together in one of two locations –  Cowden Hall or Wilson Hall.
