
Accepting Learning Community applicants for the 2010-2011 Academic year
The Biomedical Professions LC connects approximately 30 freshmen who are interested in a career in one of the biomedical professions – chiropractic, dentistry, medicine, nutrition/dietetics, occupational therapy, optometry, osteopathic medicine, naturopathic medicine, paramedic, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant, podiatry, public health or veterinary medicine. LC residents live together in Wilson Hall.
Common Courses
Seats in certain high-demand classes will be reserved for Biomedical Professions LC residents. Your advisor will help you enroll in these courses, which you will attend with other members of your LC. Visit Priority Enrollment to find out more about enrollment and advising. For fall ’09, seats will be reserved in:
USC 108 – Biomedical Professions Designed to help students understand how to prepare themselves to become successful applicants for professional programs in the Biomedical Professions through work on personal statements, study skills, professional schools expectations, clinical experience, and creating a timeline for completing the necessary courses and activities recommended by professional programs

Each year LC residents work with residence hall staff to plan exciting and meaningful activities. Possible events in the Biomedical Professions LC include:
