| Room Changes | |||||||||||
|
It is never to late to request a room change, roommate, or buyout a room or apartment. We try to accommodate as many changes as possible as long as space allows. Most changes occur over the summer before the school year starts, during the first month of school, and during the winter break. During this time, we continually evaluate change requests and process them as people cancel their housing or change their academic plans. Fraternity and sorority recruitment occurs during the first month of school and opens additional spaces for students to move into. If you need to request a residence hall accommodation based on a documented disability, please contact Disability Resources at 928-523-8773, (928-523-6906 TTY). Requesting a Room Change - If you wish to make a request during the summer or winter break, you will need to complete a Lifestyle Request Change. If you are making a request during the academic year, you will need to contact your Residence Hall Director (RHD) at your hall front desk. Requesting a Roommate - All roommate requests must be mutual by both parties in order for us to place you together in a room. If your requested roommate currently lives on campus, you and your roommate request will need to contact your hall staff to assist in moving you together. If you wish to live together for the next academic year, you will both need to apply together during Housing Reapplication in the spring semester. If your requested roommate does not currently live on campus, you both will need to submit a Lifestyle Request Change. Placement depends on application date, specific request, and available space - the more detailed the request, the lower your chances of us being able to meet it. Requesting To Buyout a Double Room or Apartment - If space allows, sometimes rooms or apartments are sold to students as single rooms or apartment buyouts - additional fees will apply. If you wish to make a request during the summer or winter break, you will need to submit a Lifestyle Request Change. If you are making a request during the academic year, you will need to contact your Residence Hall Director (RHD) at your hall front desk. | |||||||||||
