Alicia is from Mesa, Arizona and she will be working with the Mountain Jacks Pre-K & Kindergarteners. She just graduated with a degree in Exercise Science and hopes to one day be a physical Therapist. She loves to ride her bike and go hiking. She loves ice cream and her favorite flavor is cookies n' cream! She also loves polar bears, the color green and being with friends!
Jantzen is a sophomore at NAU studying to be a high school history teacher. He will be working with the Mountain Jacks 4th graders this summer! His favorite animal is a polar bear and his favorite color is red! After college Jantzen wants to go to Africa to be a river guide!
Alissa is a senior at NAU majoring in English. This is her second year working with the Mountain Jacks 4th graders and she is looking forward to another a fun and safe summer! Alissa is from Alaska and her favorite animal is a frog. She has a brand new niece named Dahlia and her brother-in-law is also working the camp this year! Alissa is excited to meet all the campers this year and is looking forward to having a fun summer with the kids!
Mike Thompson is from Flagstaff, AZ and he is majoring in secondary education at NAU. This is his second year working with the Mountain Jacks 5th & 6th graders and he is excited to be back! His favorite animal is a bald eagle and he also coaches basketball at a local high school!
Amy will be working with the Mountain Jacks 2nd & 3rd graders and is so excited about camp this summer! She is an athletic training major and someday hopes to work with a professional team or own her own clinic! Her favorite ice cream is carmel caribou but also loves an occasional cookie dough ice cream! She loves her family, especially her brothers and baby sister and someday wants to go back to visit Ireland with them! Her favorite movie right now is "P.S. I Love You"! She is not afraid to try anything at least once and tries everyday to do the best she can!
Ryan is a Music Education and Clarinet Performance major here at NAU and he will be working with the Mountain Jacks 1st graders. He enjoys hiking and cooking and his favorite animal is a beagle and his favorite Disney movie is "Finding Nemo"! In the future Ryan hopes to travel to many different places in the world including Australia and Ireland all while teaching clarinet!
Lori is a Junior at NAU majoring in Physical Education and she will be working with all ages of the Mountain Jacks! Her favorite sport is basketball and she also played badminton, softball, and ran track in high school! Her favorite movies are mostly Disney and she loves to play with kids!
Josh Bangle is from Flagstaff, AZ and he is a Public Relations major here at NAU. This is his second year working camp and he will be working with 2nd & 3rd graders at Mountain Jacks and 4th - 6th graders at Dolphine Day Camp! His favorite animal is a dog and his favorite color is green! He is the oldest of 3 boys and when Josh grows up he wants to work for a ski resort in Colorado!
Whitney is a Physical Education major at NAU and she is working with the Mountain Jacks 5th & 6th graders! She enjoys playing all sports and staying active! Her favorite movie is Peter Pan and her favorite animals are panda bears and hippos! She really wants to travel around the world and one day hopes to coach high school girls basketball!
Josh Hett is an education major here at NAU and will be working with all age groups at both the Mountain Jacks and Dolphin Day Camps! Ever since he was young he has always wanted to be a math teacher. His favorite ice cream is chololate chip cookie dough and his favorite movie is Happy Gilmore! He is looking forward to making camp an awesome experience for everyone!
Sasha is a senior at NAU studying Journalism and Advertising and is working with the Louie's Leaders this year! She loves leafy green vegetables and skateboarding! Her favorite Disney movie is Mulan! Sasha wants to visit Russia, where she was born, and is planning a trip with her family next summer! Sasha loves dogs and has a beagle named Toby. When she grows up she wants to be a communications director for a non-profit organization!
Chris is from Phoenix, AZ and has been in Flagstaff for 3 years! He will be doing Rock Climbing and Experiential Education with both the Mountain Jacks and Dolphin Day Camp! His favorite movie is "A Bugs Life" and he loves the color Blue!
Taylor is from Flagstaff, AZ and has gone to NAU for the last 2 years studying Public Relations and Advertising. This is her second year at camp and she will be working with the Mountain Jacks 1st graders! Last fall semester Taylor studied abroad in Australia! Someday she wants to travel to Europe and see everything! She loves mint chocolate chip ice cream and all kinds of tasty food! She is really looking forward to another great summer with the little ones!
Elizabeth is a physical education major here at NAU and she will be working with the Dolphin Day Kindergarten & 1st graders! She loves penguins and eating cherry dipped cones from Dairy Queen. When she grows up she wants to go to New Zealand to go dark water rafting!
Jordan is a Political Science major here at NAU and is working with Dolphin Day Camp! His favorite ice cream is rocky road, his favorite animal is a jaguar, and his favorite movie is "The Fox and the Hound"! He really wants to go to Africa someday!
Hannah is a Photography major at NAU and is working with Dolphin Day Camp! She's is originally from southern California but has lived in Arizona for 5 years. In her free time she enjoys taking pictures, rock climbing, juggling and spending time with friends. Her favorite movie is "Ants" and she loves dried pineapples with nutella!
Joel is originally from Colorado and he will be working with the Dolphin Day Kindergarten & 1st graders! He loves to watch cartoons and act like a goofball! Joel's favorite animal is a snake and he loves chocolate ice cream!
Liz is from Seattle and she is majoring in Psychology at NAU! She will be working with the Dolphin Day 2nd & 3rd graders! Some of her favorite things are chocolate ice cream, dogs and being with her friends! Her favorite movie is "Finding Nemo", which made her want to travel to Australia!
This is Matt's third summer with Dolphin Day Camp and he will be working with the 4th-6th graders! Matt is a senior studying Anthropology and Chinese! He enjoys being active and doing anything outside! Next year, Matt will be commissioning into the Air Force and going to Pensacola, Florida!
Katie is a psychology major from Sierra Vista, AZ and she will be working with the Dolphin Day 2nd & 3rd graders! Her favorite movies are "Forrest Gump", "Dumb & Dumber" and "Zoolander"! Katie loves mint chocolate chip ice cream, playing volleyball, grizzly bears and painting!
Levi is originally from South Dakota and he is a junior at NAU studying Geology! He will be working with the Dolphin Day Kindergarten & 1st graders! He loves to mountain bike, snowboard, hunt, camp and raise livestock and his favorite movie is "Open Range"!
Jackie is originally from Parker, Colorado and will be working with the Dolphin Day Kindergarten & 1st graders! She is an Interior Design major at NAU and in her free time she enjoys snowboarding! Her favorite movie is "Snow White" and one day she hopes to travel to Australia!
Randi is a social work major at NAU and will be working with the Dolphin Day 4th, 5th & 6th graders! She volunteers at the humane society and one day hopes to work for CPS! Randi is from Mesa, AZ and would love to visit Ireland some day! Her favorite ice cream is Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup!
