Summer Youth Programs Position Announcement

Seeks motivated, active and high-spirited persons with a strong desire to positively impact young peoples lives through an enriching and energetic approach to the summer camp experience. If you believe yourself to be enthusiastic, creative, fun loving, a team player and leader then one of our summer youth programs is for you! Enjoy interacting with energetic and bright children while taking pleasure in the beautiful summer environment that Flagstaff's Mountain Campus has to offer.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess a professional attitude, leadership, organization, and solid communication skills (both written and oral) to be successful in this position.  Candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work positively with groups of 20+ children, creating a safe and inviting environment. Creative and innovating programming experience is desired and prior experience working with children is preferred. Current CPR and First Aid certification is required (offered through the Rec. Center). Current drivers license is required and NAU Van Training must be successfully completed if selected for employment.

General Information

A criminal and employment history background check will be performed prior to employment offer. A current copy of your driving record from DMV will also be required prior to employment.

Positions/Wages:
Leaders - $9.50hr
Assistant - $9.00 hr
Dolphin Day Camp
(Wall Aquatic Center)

Monday - Friday 12:30am - 5:30pm

Positions/Wages:
Leaders - $9.50 hr

 

Certifications:
Current CPR, First Aid and Van Training.
(Will provide training for CPR and First Aid certifications during staff training - van training must be completed prior to program start date)
