Maximize your calorie expenditure with a combination of cardio (step/hi-lo/kickboxing) and strength training. High intensity intervals and low impact floor aerobic movement paired with resistance training will take your workout regiment to a whole new level! See and feel immediate results.

6:00-7:00 p.m. Pilates
A class that works your entire body without even knowing it! Workouts consist of a compilation muscular endurance, conditioning, yoga, sports and dance exercises. The class will challenge core and peripheral strength while working on posture, coordination, balance, and flexibility.

5:00-6:00 p.m. Step & Sculpt
This class takes the traditional step moves and transforms them into creative step combinations by simply adding the elements of rhythm, direction and style! Class wouldn’t be complete without integrating the cardiovascular workout with great toning and muscular strengthening exercises. This class brings the "fun factor" back into a workout!

6:00-7:00 p.m. Zumba
It’s the fitness phenomenon that is taking the world by storm! Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music and dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness experience! The routines feature aerobic fitness with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Perfect for anyone with or without dance experience!

2:00-2:30 p.m. Hardcore Abs
Tired of endless crunches? Come get a great total abdominal workout and back strengthening workout. Our instructors will lead you through a fun and intense class combining the use of stability balls, weights and other equipment to help you achieve your core strengthening goals.

2:30-3:00 p.m. Tread & Shed
Come experience the success of our TREADMILL classes! Whether you are a runner or a walker, come experience cardiovascular training at its finest. These 30-minute classes are designed to increase your cardiovascular capacity to keep you in shape using hill work, speed work and interval drills that you would most likely never push yourself to do! No experience with running is necessary...just a water bottle! Feel free to bring your IPod! Reservations requested, pick up a reservation card at the front desk. Classes meet on the Matrix treadmills in the cardio room.
3:00-4:00 p.m. Hip Hop
This class is a fun way to stay active and dance away your stress. Challenge your body and feel the workout while having a great time dancing to popular fast-past hip hop beats. This class is for both experienced and non experienced dancers, everyone is welcome! So come and shake your body and learn fun new dances.

4:00-7:00 p.m. Freshman Fusion Expo
Familiarize yourself with Campus Recreation Services, the Freshman Fusion program and check out all of the health, wellness and sport club opportunities Northern Arizona University has to offer you! Play a game of wii Mario Cart, climb on the indoor climbing wall, take a group exercise class or even get started with fitness assessments by NAU’s very own certified personal trainers!
