Freshman Fusion '09

LIVE IT UP with a fitness program designed just for you!

You can get your first semester off to the right start with three easy steps. Join us for one or all of the Freshman Fusion FREE events.

Step 1: Educate Yourself (September)

Knowledge is power. Through our fitness education events, learn the essentials that you need to live a healthy active lifestyle. These can include avoiding ineffective weight loss schemes, spotting fad diets and how to properly manage your stress. You can get a great workout during our Freshman Fusion Remix group exercise classes designed just for freshmen every Wednesday 6:00-7:00 p.m. and Fitness Fusion classes Saturdays 1:00-2:00 p.m.!

Step 2: Exercise Daily (October)

A lifestyle rich in cardiovascular exercise and strength training can give you the energy you need to tackle each day. Take action now to take care of your body! Get new workout ideas from certified personal trainers; have a free body composition, try out small group personal training with your friends and benefit from Fitness Week October 4-10. All of which can help you stay physically active most days of the week.

Step 3: Eat Right (November)

The key to eating right is controlling your portion sizes and maintaining a well balanced diet. Learn how to include a variety of nutritious fruits, vegetables and heart-healthy foods such as lean meats, fish and nuts. Fitness education events will coach you in making healthy food choices and in avoiding excessive weight gain during the holidays and heightened stressful times.
