Women's Ultimate Frisbee

General Info

We are the Women's Ultimate Frisbee Club team here at NAU.  As a team we really focus on encouraging anyone and everyone to learn the game of ultimate.  Ultimate is a self-officiated game played with seven players per team on the field at one time.  Many would say that ultimate is a cross between soccer, and football, just because there is plenty of running and to score you must catch the disc in the designated end zone.  No matter how you describe it the game of Ultimate attracts atheletes from all different disciplines. Currently we have former soccer, volleyball, basketball, lacross, softball players, and a lot of cross country runners.  Moral of this summary: Ultimate is probably the most fun game you will ever play, the game itself is fun the people are awesome, and you get to travel 'nuf said. 

 There just one word of caution: ultimate is addicting.  Once you start you play for life. This is not a rule or law, it just tends to happen. We will be starting our  back up the second week of school with our season starting January 10, 2011!
