News pushed to you

Northern Arizona University is pleased to offer our news articles in RSS format. Now with an RSS reader, you can "subscribe" to our site and receive regular updates whenever news is added.

Subscribe by adding this URL into your RSS reader: http://www4.nau.edu/insidenau/inside.xml

What Do I Need?
First, you'll need a news aggregator, such as Bloglines.com or myYahoo.com. These are web-based RSS readers that are free and allow you to access your news from any computer with Internet access.

There are also RSS readers you can purchase and install on your computer such as Amphetadesk (Macintosh, Windows and Linux); NewzCrawler (Windows—shareware, which means you pay for it); NetNewsWire (Macintosh—paid and lite version available).

After you've installed the program, you just plug in the address of the RSS file to which you want to "subscribe," like the one posted above.

Does This Cost Something?
No. NAU is making its content available for use by programs that can read RSS files, but we don't charge for our content.
