Applying to Law School

First, you should select the law schools to which you plan to send applications.  Please see "Choosing a Law School."

The Law School Admissions Council is the organization that coordinates the law school application process.  Please click on the link to the left to visit their page.

Applications generally require that you:

  • Complete an undergraduate degree with a decent grade point average
  • Pass the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) with a decent score
  • Fill out an application and pay the application fee
  • Write a personal statement

You should spend a significant amount of time on the LSAC web site learning about the LSAT and other applications processes.  Please talk with a Prelaw Advisor as well about the exam, personal statement and any other applications questions you may have.
