Relax On Your Way To Work

The ecoPASS let's you do just that.

Riding Mountain Line to work saves wear-and-tear on your vehicle, reduces emissions, and cuts your gas expenses. Using your ecoPASS helps reduce campus traffic congestion, lessens the impact on employee parking, reduces air pollution, and expands the range of cyclists and walkers.

Plus, you can get to work stress-free. So, sit-back, relax, and enjoy the ride. It's free!

Pick Me Up

For your conveneince, Mountain Campus Transit (MCT) offers a shuttle service between Mountain Line West Phoenix Avenue Transfer Center to the bus shelter behind the Physical Sciences building on the corner of Beaver St. and Franklin Ave. from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Guaranteed Ride Home

In addition to the unlimited public transit access, the program includes a Guaranteed Ride Home program to provide additional security and peace of mind for employees commuting by bus. The Guaranteed Ride Home program allows employees who commute to work on a given day using their ecoPASS to use a taxi for emergency trips home that will be provided at no cost to the employee.

Taxi rides can be used for emergencies such as:

  • The employee or a family member suffers an illness, injury or other emergency
  • The employee's home or property is damaged by fire, burglary or acts of nature
  • There is a university-wide emergency and no other travel option is available
  • The employee must work unscheduled overtime (supervisor authorization is required)
  • Similar unanticipated or emergency situations, as judged by the supervisor

When an employee has an emergency on a day he or she commutes to work via Mountain Line, a signed voucher will be issued by Human Resources and the employee will call a taxi from the provider list. NAIPTA will pay for the ride.
