Help recruit the next class of Lumberjacks!
We are seeking parents to assist with Future Freshmen Receptions held throughout March and April in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
These receptions, hosted by Undergraduate Admissions, are a great opportunity for future freshmen and their parents to get answers to their questions and to learn the next steps to becoming a freshman in college. For reception details, click here.

We are seeking parents to assist with upcoming Freshman Orientation events in Flagstaff. Each year, the university hosts approximately 11 two-day orientations beginning in late May and concluding in late August.

It's time to prepare summer and fall 2008 class schedules
If your student is interested in taking Summer Session classes, enrollment starts March 10. Tuition rates have been posted on the Bursar's Office web site. For the Need to Know Necessities, click here.
Also, advising for fall 2008 classes has begun. Students should contact their advisor now to make an appointment. Early enrollment starts March 26. Summer and fall classes are available on LOUIE.
Financial aid tip: scholarships

Student health tip: National Nutrition Month
In recognition of National Nutrition Month, Campus Dining is working with the Healthy Campus team to provide nutrition facts, tips, and suggestions in the Hot Spot and South Dining to help students make healthier dining choices. Encourage your student to look for this information and take advantage of the vast array of fresh foods and vegetables available as well as other foods that promote a healthy lifestyle. Spring 2008 Career and Graduate School Fair
is coming
Remind your student that the spring Career Day and Graduate School Fair, featuring more than 100 employers and graduate schools, will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. in the University Union Fieldhouse.
Students intending to graduate in May or August are encouraged to bring their resume and mingle with potential employers. Many companies are seeking candidates for on-campus interviews which will be held Thursday, March 13 in the Gateway Student Success Center.
