Preparing for move in
Most residence halls open Thursday, August 21 at 9 a.m. If your student is assigned to Pine Ridge Village, building A or B or Gabaldon Hall, Birch Wing, you will be able to begin checking in on Friday, August 22 at 9 a.m. Students must check-in by August 25.
If your student is living on campus, he or she will receive an assignment letter with information about his or her roommate(s), room assignment, mailing address, and telephone number, as well as helpful move-in tips.
If you're planning to ship items to campus using the U.S. Postal Services, it is recommended that you ship to your student's address included in the assignment letter. If you're using FedEx, UPS or DHL, use your student's residence hall street address found here. This will ensure the items go directly to your student's hall.
Students now use their university ID card to open the exterior doors of their residence hall. If they do not have a university ID card, have them go to the NAUCard Office, located in the University Union, building 30, prior to checking into their residence hall.
If your student does not yet have a meal plan, it's not too late to get one. Campus Dining will have more than 20 locations across campus to satisfy the time, taste, and nutritional needs of every student, with some locations open until 2 a.m.! Make sure your student has a plan—weekly plans as well as block semester plans available. For more information click here.
