Northern Arizona University

   

The mission of Parent and Family Services is to foster open communication between the university and parents/family members of its students.  We engage parents/family members and students in the life of the University by encouraging interest, participation and support of the university, thus enhancing the quality of both the student and parent/family members' experience during their years directly associated with the university.

Purpose

The purposes of Parent and Family Services within the Office of Student Life are:

1. To advance the mission and goals of Northern Arizona University through the establishment and maintenance of contact between the university and the parents of its students.
2. To provide a medium through which parents/family members of current students can develop an interest in the progress and needs of Northern Arizona University, can contribute to the well-being of the University and can foster beneficial relations among its members and the University.
3. To support the Northern Arizona University Administration in fostering and encouraging exemplary scholarship by our students.
