Internships and Employment Opportunities

YMCA of the Rockies

Camp Chief Ouray is looking for a few good men and women to apply for summer camp counselor and camp kitchen positions. Counselor applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Camp kitchen applicants must be 16 years of age or older. Working with campers and peers, that may very well become lifelong friends, is an awesome way to spend your summer (room and board are included).

Mountain Day Camp

We interview our camp counselors extensively to find the extraordinary, creative, energetic camp counselors who have authentic interest in youth development and who are attuned to the needs of children. Our counselors are mature, have college experience, and have current CPR and First Aid Certifications. Camp Counselors receive 6-day training in child development and risk management before the summer begins.
