CANCELATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF THE CHALLENGE COURSE

 

On the NAU Challenge Course we want to be able to provide the best experience possible.  We attempt to manage all of the challenges that arise when organizing a group of people to be present at the same time and place.  Unfortunately, weather, transportation troubles and a lack of individual commitments to be present are not always reliable.  For this reason, we have established the following policy regarding cancelation and/or postponement of your NAU Challenge Course experience.

NAU Challenge Course and our Facilitators depend on the organizations that schedule programming to arrive on time, with the number of participants listed on the contract and with a completed medical form for each participant.  When a scheduled program does not arrive or cancels on the day of program the NAU Challenge Course and the Facilitators are left in a difficult situation.  In order to cover the expenses of the preparation of the challenge course, the failure of the contracting organization to cancel reservation 7 days prior to the event will result in the loss of the full amount of the course fee. If the contracting organization cancels the course because not enough people attend, then the full amount of the course fee is charged. If the contracting organization decides to re-schedule due to weather, there will be a $100 re-scheduling fee. This fee may be avoided if our office is called 24 hours before the course start time.  If the NAU Challenge Course Facilitators and the contracting organization’s main contact person decide to cancel the course after programming has begun, then it is the responsibility of the contracting organization to contact the NAU Challenge Course and request a half-day credit.  The original course fees will be processed with an additional $75 rescheduling fee.  No refunds will be issued.
