You will be recognized for your accomplishments as well as being honored with a gift, a beautiful sash to celebrate your achievement!

GRADUATES: REGISTRATION CLOSED
Graduates: Online registration has closed. If you are a student and would like to attend the ceremony, contact Sharon Doctor, 928-523-6960.
Special Guests (Tribal/Governmental Officials, NAU Faculty/Staff/Administrators) please call Sharon Doctor at 928-523-6960 if you are planning to attend the ceremony.
TIME OF ARRIVAL FOR GRADUATES
Graduates need to arrive by 2:45 PM to Prochnow Auditorium on May 10th to prepare for the ceremony.
DRESS CODE
Graduates are encouraged to wear their tribal attire or business professional (no t-shirts, caps, jeans, etc.) as there will be special dignitaries attending the ceremony.
GRADUATES: REHEARSAL
A Convocation rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, May 9 from 5-6 PM at Prochnow Auditorium, bldg. 3A, north campus (next door to the 1899 Grill).
RECEPTION
A reception will follow the ceremony from 5-7 PM (MST) on the outside lawn by Prochnow Auditorium.
SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS
If you or any of your guests are an individual with a disability and will require a reasonable accommodation to attend the ceremony, requests should be made to Native American Student Services (928-523-8086).
CAMPUS PARKING AREAS & SHUTTLE SERVICE
FREE parking is available behind Cline Library (P13 lot) and across the street from library (P16 lot). No permit is required. FREE NAU Rapid Ride shuttle buses will be available from 2-4 PM for graduates and guests from the University Union bus stop and will head northbound with drop off at the Ashust bus stop which is near Prochnow. The same shuttle buses will be available from 5-6 PM at Ashurst bus stop to transport people to the Ardrey bus stop (southbound) and is within walking distance to P13 and P16 parking lots.
DECEMBER 2011 GRADUATES
If you received a sash last year, please bring it with you as the Committee will place your sash on your shoulder during the Recognition portion of the ceremony as each student only receives one sash per type of degree (bachelor-yellow fringes, masters-blue fringes, and doctorate-yellow/blue fringes).
