Application Process
To be considered for the STAR program, you need to take the following steps:

1. Apply to Northern Arizona University - you must be admitted to the university to be considered for the STAR program.  You can complete and submit your NAU application online. 

2. Submit a STAR Program Interest Form to the Multicultural Student Center. 

3. Complete the STAR Financial Information Worksheet and mail it to the Office of Financial Aid.

NOTE:  Once offered admission to NAU, you will be asked to submit a $175 enrollment deposit to accept your admission.  You cannot be selected for the STAR program until you have paid the enrollment deposit.

Selection Process
Once we receive your interest form and financial aid eligibility questionnaire, we will send you additional information about the STAR program.  When your file is complete, we will be able to make a decision regarding your application.  We will begin reviewing applications for the program in January 2009.

Once selected for the program, we will send you a confirmation letter and check-in packet.  To reserve your spot in the program, your confirmation letter must be returned no later than May 1, 2009.
