Hi!

I’m Lorri, Administrative Assistant for the Multicultural Student Center and the STAR Program. I have worked at NAU for a total of 16 years and I’ve been with the MSC for 13 of those years. I have been part of 14 summer STAR Programs.

My degree is Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and I taught 3rd grade for the Tempe School District. After moving to Flagstaff 23 years ago I worked for the Flagstaff School District and in the Scholarship Office of Financial Aid here at NAU.

I am an active member of the Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) and have been involved with many committees on campus over the 13 years with MSC.

I am married and have 2 grown children, a son Chris who works as a Survey Engineer with Woodson Engineering and Surveying here in Flagstaff, and a daughter who is an Investment Banker for Wells Fargo and lives in the Minneapolis area. She is a graduate of NAU. I also have one grandson that is 2 years old.

The Multicultural Student Center is part of the LEADS Center located in the Student Union. We are very student oriented and have many services for you to take advantage of. We have a computer lab where students come to work on papers, read email or surf the net. We have a lounge area with TV and many students come here to socialize and eat their lunch. We also celebrate monthly birthdays with a big cake and everyone is invited.
