The MSC matters to me because it maintains an atmosphere and a positive support network that are key components to successes bridging beyond a GPA. The MSC provides a home away from home where I can engage with people I relate to. It is a place tohave questions answered by students and colleagues. Weaidstudent success by giving and receiving the support and encouragement necessary to grow personally, professionally, and academically - not to mention the free hot chocolate! The things that motivate me out of bed on cold Flagstaff mornings is working with students and knowing that I am going to spend my day in the presence of their vast potential. In my spare time I enjoy exploring and adventuring outdoors with my family, friends, and dog. My passions in life include promoting an equitable society, laughing and eating tasty food!
