Suzanne L. Woods has a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in counseling and is a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE). She is currently the Director of Internships for The School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University. She assists in HRM recruitment efforts; is a faculty advisor for the HRM student clubs presidents' council; serves on several HRM/NAU committees; is President of NAU's Internship Co-op Council; and oversees Housekeeping student lab hour operations for The Inn at NAU, in conjunction with her lecture classes in housekeeping/laundry management and operations.

Suzanne's past experience with HRM includes the position of executive housekeeper for the Inn at NAU and an HRM Academic Advisor, as well as being a 1994 graduate of the HRM program.

Her 20 years of industry experience includes both "front and back" of the house roles as executive housekeeper, night auditor, and front desk shift manager. In addition, she has extensive frontline restaurant, catering, banqueting, and bar operations experience. Suzanne has also owned and operated a residential cleaning business.
