

John L. Myers, Ed.D., professor at NAU in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, has earned 23 years of university experience combined with 27 years of business experience. His teaching emphases include management and related courses, entrepreneurship, and human resources.
Myers formerly served as dean of the College of Business at the University of Southern Colorado, dean of students at Yavapai College, and as a professor at Arizona State University and the University of Wisconsin.
Myers’ private sector experience includes consulting, insurance, securities, publishing, real estate development, and entrepreneurship. Myers earned the Ed.D. degree from Arizona State University in 1970. He has an extensive record of research, publishing and speaking.
