Lenka M. Hospodka is a lecturer at the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University. She received her BS degree in hospitality management from Cornell University, her MBA degree from New York University, New York, NY, in management and organizational behavior/international business. After graduation, she explored various hospitality operations as front desk manager, restaurant manager, dining hall assistant manager, and night auditor. Her research interests are in the area of hospitality technologies, front desk operations, restaurant management, and convention management. Prior to joining the faculty at NAU, she taught at Widener University, Chester, PA; and Johnson and Wales University, Providence, RI. She is a member of CHRIE.

Contributing author to the HRM’s jointly-authored hospitality textbook, A Host of Opportunities: Introduction to Hospitality Management, Prentice-Hall, 2000.
