Northern Arizona University

Frances Ann Hill, Ed.D., is an associate professor at the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management. Prior to coming NAU, she worked with Ramada Hotels Worldwide and Marie Callenders Restaurants in corporate communications, public relations, investor relations, marketing, and community relations. She earned both her the Ed.D. and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership at NAU. Her BA degree in philosophy was earned at Mundelein College, Chicago, Illinois.

Hill’s teaching and research interests are in the areas of hospitality organizational behavior, interpersonal relationships, and excellence in university teaching.

Dr. Hill’s publications include:

• Characteristics of exemplary university professors as perceived by master's degree students at Northern Arizona University (dissertation, 1995).

• Test Bank to Accompany A Host of Opportunities: An Introduction to Hospitality Management, 1996.
