THE HONORS PROGRAM at Northern Arizona University enhances the creative problem solving abilities and communication skills of students through a rigorous program of study and an intellectually stimulating academic environment.  The program serves as a model of educational excellence for Northern Arizona University.

Honors students are members of a close, supportive community of scholars, receive personalized advising, close faculty interaction, unique course offerings, and early enrollment.

WESTERN REGIONAL HONORS COUNCIL'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE
was held in the new High Country Conference Center on April 10-12, 2008. The NAU WRHC Conference Planning Committee thanks all presenters and attendees for their enthusiasm and support.

Planning for next year's conference has already begun. Be sure to visit Washington State University's WRHC conference webpage for more information.

In 2009, the conference will be held in Spokane, Washington at the Davenport Hotel and Tower from March 4-7.

In 2010, the conference will be hosted by the University of Wyoming.

HONORS WEEK 2009 dates are set for Saturday April 18 through Saturday April 25. Click here for a schedule of 2008 Honors Week events.

HONORS AMBASSADORS are current Honors students willing to share their experiences in Honors and at Northern Arizona University with incoming students. Ask them about anything--difficulty of classes, living in an Honors residence hall, or what an Honors class is really like.
