The new Health and Learning Center facility includes:

  • Indoor jogging track
  • 38 foot climbing wall
  • Expanded weight room
  • Multipurpose gym
  • Cardio Theatre

Health and mental health enhancements:

  • Expanded urgent care clinic
  • Pharmacy with expanded over-the-counter items and other retail
  • Enhanced confidentiality and anonymity for physical and mental health services through a single check-in and more private space
  • Increased access to mental health and urgent care with additional counselors, psychiatric services, and urgent care physicians.
  • New space for Disability Resources in a central campus location

Additional components:

These components will bring additional dimensions to the new Health and Learning Center. These components ARE NOT funded by student fees.

  • 2 floors of general classrooms allow for growing enrollment and renovation of other academic buildings by providing classroom "swing space" (a space to hold classes temporarily while the home academic building is being renovated)
  • Includes attractive, interactive social space for students, staff, and faculty
  • Includes a coffee shop and café with indoor and outdoor seating on a beautiful terrace looking at the San Francisco Peaks
  • New stadium shell for the Max Spilsbury field
  • Locker room facilities for university athletics sports teams: soccer, tennis, and track and field; and shared training room facilities and offices for athletics
