Local youngsters between the ages of 8 and 13 have the opportunity to participate in the Junior Olympic Skills Competition. This free grassroots youth participation program allows boys and girls, competing separately, the opportunity to showcase their athletic abilities in four athletic events—basketball, soccer, tennis and track and field.
