About Greek Life
Welcome to Greek Life at Northern Arizona University! Fraternities and sororities have been a part of our community for over 75 years.
Our organizations provide a social and academic support system designed to give students a well-rounded college experience.
With our long-standing tradition of service, leadership, and friendship, our Greek system offers the experience of a lifetime.
The majority of NAU Greek students are housed in Mountain View Hall, a 600 bed suite-style living facility that encompasses 18 of the 22 social Greek organizations on campus. Mountain View is home to one professional Residence Life Staff member, two Graduate Assistants, and 12 paraprofessional student Resident Assistants. Chapters unite under one roof to better the Greek community as a whole and work together to accomplish a shared vision.
According to the Fall 2008 Freshmen Retention and Graduation Tracking Project, freshmen living in Mountain View or Freshmen Connection halls have a higher retention rate than all other freshmen living on or off campus. Also, freshmen living on-campus tend to have higher graduation rates than those living off-campus.
