The Northern Arizona University Teaching Academy

The Provost and President established the NAU Teaching Academy in 2008-09 in order to create new collaborations, influence campus discussions around the strategic goal of being a learning-centered institution, and help the campus benefit more broadly from the insights of NAU’s extraordinary teachers.

The Academy's members have been recognized by their colleges as instructional leaders and are appointed for three year terms. The Academy Board consists of faculty who have been designated by the President as Distinguished Teaching Fellows.
