Applications are now being accepted for the 2008 Arizona Wakonse Teaching Retreat, May 15-18, 2008.
Arizona Wakonse, a three-day teaching retreat, is a part of a national network of Wakonse Retreats for faculty teaching in higher education. The annual Arizona Wakonse Retreat brings together faculty from Arizona’s higher education institutions who are devoted to strengthening the teaching and learning process. This is a unique opportunity to interact with teaching colleagues from outside your discipline and institution. Selected Arizona faculty are brought together to discuss a variety of issues and ideas regarding teaching and learning.

The retreat is held in the lodge-like setting at Camp Tontazona outside of Payson. Selection as a Wakonse participant will include transportation, meals, lodging, and conference registration. The online application form is available here. Applications are due on or before March 28, 2008.
