Graduate Teaching Assistant
Professional Development Series
Twelve professional development sessions for graduate students are scheduled; preference given in some sessions to graduate students who are teaching. Certificates of participation will be awarded to graduate students who attend at least 8 of these sessions throughout the year.
The series is sponsored by the Dean of the Graduate College, Faculty Development Program, and supported by the Vice President for Research.

This one-day institute for graduate teaching assistants will center on a series of discussions and work sessions on teaching at NAU. The goals are to enable participants to strengthen undergraduate teaching & learning in multiple instructional settings by deliberately framing, building, assessing, and reflecting on teaching strategies and student learning.
