My research interests include songbird and raptor ecology, landscape ecology, philosophy of science, and environmental policy. I am particularly interested in applied ecology and the science-policy interface. In the Sisk Lab of Landscape Ecology and Conservation Biology at NAU, I am studying the ecological implications of “Wildland Urban Interface” boundary delineations and management on songbird populations—a mix of policy analysis, GIS and spatial analysis, and population modeling.
