Welcome to the Center for Environmental Sciences and Education (CESE)

CESE is the home for undergraduate and graduate degree programs in environmental sciences and environmental studies at NAU.

We believe that to be educated about the environment one must be educated about the world. Our students examine all aspects of ecosystems at a variety of different scales and from the perspectives of not only the natural and social sciences, but also the humanities.

We teach students how to solve environmental problems for careers in research, industry, education, government, or public service. We offer a B.S. in Environmental Sciences, a B.S. and a minor in Environmental Studies, and a M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Policy.
