Kesia Ceniceros comes to us from Yuma, AZ where she was raised with her 5 other siblings by both her parents. Kesia graduated from Yuma High School in 2003. Immediately following her graduation, she began her undergraduate career as a participant in the Successful Transition and Academic Readiness (STAR) Program through the Multicultural Student Center (MSC). In years following, Kesia completed her undergraduate career in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Ethnic Studies, the first of NAU’s Ethnic Studies program. During her time as an undergraduate, Kesia was part of SSS, the BF Scholars, M.E.Ch.A, AACHE, and the Commission on Ethnic Diversity.
In years following, she began her graduate degree in Human Relations and became a Graduate Assistant for SSS. Kesia then became a Program Coordinator in February 2009. She has been part of the SSS team since 2007. As a Program Coordinator for Student Support Services, Kesia hopes to learn as much from students as she hopes they will learn from her!
On her free time, Kesia enjoys spending time with friends and family, and watching movies.
