On April 9th, NAU hosted a special screening of the documentary film, FIRST GENERATION.
First Generation was written, directed and produced by Adam Fenderson, an alumnus of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and Jaye Fenderson.
http://firstgenerationfilm.comThe screening was followed by a panel discussion with the filmmakers and NAU first generation college students.
Veteran SSS staff member, Kevin Chase, was presented with a national award for his service to first-generation college students at the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) annual convention in Louisville.
Kevin received the Commitment to Excellence in Academic Support Award from the ACPA Commission for Academic Support in Higher Education.
