Welcome Faculty!
This site can assist you in understanding what services are available for your students. We work with students on course content understanding and skill development (i.e. test taking strategies). The SLC supports your work in the classroom. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help!

Academic Success Workshops
We assist students in developing skills that will make them successful in your classroom by offering various workshops throughout the week. We are consistently revamping our workshops so they address relevant issues that our students are facing. For the schedule, click Current Workshops.

Supplemental Instruction (SI)
The goal of the SI program is to lower the DFW rates in courses that are historically challenging for
students. Our SI program pairs SI leaders, who are students that have excelled in the course already, with a faculty member to provide additional assistance outside of the classroom to all students enrolled in the course. The SI leader works closely with the faculty member and attends the courses that the students are taking so they can provide the most relevant material to students in their sessions. SI leaders hold sessions throughout the week and provide students the opportunity to ask more questions, get clarification on covered topics, and review for tests and quizzes with their peers.
