The Newsletter's Purpose

Welcome to the first issue of Nizhoni News! The purpose of the newsletter is to:

• Disseminate college, career, and financial aid/scholarship information;
• Maintain contact with Nizhoni students and continue to build relationships among the Nizhoni community.

The newsletter is being mailed initially to 2005 summer participants, individuals and organizations, who have a valued interest in the Academy. Each issue will have short articles about colleges, careers, and other pertinent information that would be beneficial to students. There will also be a "Circle of Friends" section where students' can submit their writings, ideas, thoughts, etc. to the Nizhoni community.

The newsletter will be published three times a year. We appreciate feedback about newsletter format and content, suggestions for articles, and ways to improve contacts.
