The Academy's curriculum is based on Environmental Sustainability. The First Year curriculum asks students to design an energy efficient and socially relevant community for a specific population within the Flagstaff area. In Second Year curriculum, students work to come to an understanding of what is sustainability and what are sustainable practices of communities, governments, businesses, and individuals.
Classes are held six to eight hours a day five days a week. Classes are graded A, B, or C as passing and grades below a C are not passing. Upon successful completion of the Academy, the student will earn one high school credit.
