Learn about various techniques that will help you take charge of your schedule and avoid procrastination. Learn how to make the best use of your class syllabus to manage your time effectively and how to plan for relaxation and fun as well as academic responsibilities.
Study/Review StrategiesLearn about how your individual learning style influences your study habits and how to maximize your study time. Strategies related to reading comprehension, note taking, and understanding professor expectations will also be discussed.
Test TakingLearn about effective test taking strategies related to essay and multiple choice exams. We’ll also go over the importance of establishing a test taking ritual and fundamental test preparation techniques.
Stress ManagementLearn about various stress management techniques that will help you cope with the demands of college life and expectations. Additionally, learn how to manage test anxiety through a variety of strategies.
Final Exam PreparationStrategies that focus on how to review a large amount of material will be discussed. You’ll also learn how to devise a study schedule for your finals as well as how to stay focused and motivated through an academically rigorous time.
