Training Opportunities

Online training: Preventing Workplace Harassment is mandatory for administrators, staff, faculty, graduate assistants and any students who have an employment relationship with the university. Training must be completed within 30 days of hire.

We are also pleased to announce two new online harassment prevention trainings: Preventing Employment Discrimination and Welcoming Diversity. These tools were designed to aid in the university's efforts in creating a more welcoming and inclusive community. The AA/EO office also offers live presentations of these trainings as well as alternative formats for those requiring an accomodation upon request. Please contact our office at 523-3312 or e-mail us at diversity@nau.edu.

The Office of Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity also conducts training in conjunction with the Human Resources Department. Training opportunities are listed on the Human resources web page on the Professional Development and Training Page. Recent topics include "Navigating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the Workplace."
